Born in Bara district, Nepal, Master Sanjiv Nepali began his Taekwondo journey in 1999 at the Nijgadh Taekwondo Dojang. Under the guidance of dedicated instructors and driven by an unwavering spirit, he transformed a childhood passion into a lifelong pursuit of martial excellence.

Today, he stands as a 5th Degree Black Belt certified by the World Taekwondo Headquarters (Kukkiwon) in South Korea — a rare distinction that reflects decades of rigorous training, teaching, and unwavering commitment to the art.

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, Master Nepali serves as an International Master Instructor, Black Belt Examiner, and certified referee, sharing the profound philosophy of Taekwondo with students and practitioners across the globe.

Journey

1999
The Beginning
Started Taekwondo training at Nijgadh Taekwondo Dojang in Bara district, Nepal. The foundation of a lifelong discipline.
2000 — 2003
Rising Through the Ranks
Earned early competitive recognition in district and national championships across Nepal, demonstrating exceptional form and dedication.
2012
World Peace Corps Training
Completed the World Peace Corp Taekwondo Training Program conducted by the Nepal Taekwondo Association — deepening understanding of Taekwondo as a force for global unity.
2016 — 2018
International Stage
Competed and officiated at prestigious championships across Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, the UK, and Las Vegas — establishing a presence on the world stage.
2018
International Master Instructor
Certified as a 3rd Class International Taekwondo Master Instructor by the World Taekwondo Headquarters, South Korea — authorized to teach and preserve authentic Taekwondo traditions worldwide.
2022
5th Dan & Global Recognition
Promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt by Kukkiwon. Also certified as an International Poom/Dan Examiner and Hamadang Referee — entrusted with evaluating and officiating at the highest levels of the sport.

Everest World Class Taekwondo
Serving as Master Instructor at Everest World Class Taekwondo in Baltimore, USA. Continues to compete, officiate, and mentor the next generation of martial artists across the United States and beyond.
