The Call
of the Dojang
Master Sanjiv Nepali's journey in Taekwondo began in the year 2000, when a young man from Nepal first stepped into a training hall and discovered not just a sport, but a calling. What started as curiosity would grow into a lifelong vocation that would take him to five continents.
Training under some of Nepal's most respected masters, Sanjiv distinguished himself early — not merely through physical prowess, but through an extraordinary understanding of Taekwondo's philosophy. He did not just learn techniques; he absorbed the art's deepest principles.
"From the very first day, I knew this was not about fighting. It was about becoming."
"Every belt I have earned, every medal I have won — they are not mine alone. They belong to Nepal, to every young person who believes a small nation can stand tall on the world stage."
— Master Sanjiv Nepali · 5th Dan Black Belt · World Taekwondo HQ, South Korea
Going Global
The path to international competition is rarely straightforward. For Sanjiv, it meant years of sacrifice — early mornings, late nights, and an unshakeable belief that Nepal deserved representation on the world stage. That belief was rewarded.
From his first international appearance, Sanjiv carried the red and blue of Nepal into competition arenas across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. His medal haul grew with every tournament — Gold in Hong Kong, Gold in Manchester, Gold in Las Vegas — each victory a testament not just to his skill, but to the quality of training Nepal could produce.
